About Restorative Dentistry

Restorative Dentistry

Healthy, natural-looking teeth can be beautifully designed and do their job extremely well. Restorative dentistry focuses on restoring a tooth that has been damaged, decayed, or lost back to its original form and function.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown restores a damaged tooth to its natural shape, size, and function. A crown is a “cap” or cover that is put on after treatment to protect, strengthen, and improve the look of a tooth. With CEREC technology, we can now restore your tooth with a permanent dental crown in one visit.

Fixed Bridges

Dental bridges remain an outstanding choice for the replacement of one or more teeth and provide a fine alternative to dental implants for tooth replacement. Affixed to the two teeth adjacent to a gap via dental crowns, bridges restore both functionality and beauty to the smile.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canals are designed to treat tooth decay while preserving as much of the tooth structure as possible. Although many relate this procedure to pain, root canal treatment actually provides the much-desired relief from the pain of infection and decay, while also starting the healing process.

Dentures and Partials

Dentures can be either complete or partial— but both are removable prosthetic devices that are used to replace one or more missing teeth. A denture, also known as false teeth, is used when there are no teeth remaining on the top, bottom, or both. A partial denture replaces one or more missing teeth when there are natural teeth still remaining.
