Meet Dr. Edward Dwyer
Dr. Dwyer attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his residency at Buffalo General Hospital, and later earning further certification in esthetic dentistry residency from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dwyer is a fellow in the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is on the faculty at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry. He also lectures extensively on the benefits and applications of the BIOLASE Waterlase dental laser. Dr. Dwyer is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New York State Dental Society, Eighth District Dental Society, and Erie County Dental Society.
Dr. Dwyer has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years and has established himself as a trusted, well respected and technologically advanced Buffalo-area dentist. He is married with four children and enjoys volunteering in his spare time.
With over 40 years experience in the dental field, Anna has been with Dr. Dwyer since the beginning. She graduated from Bryant & Stratton as a dental assistant and is knowledgeable on the treatment side as well as the administrative side. Anna explains, “Her career in the dental field has been most rewarding. The most exciting part of my job is the patients I get to interact with on a daily basis. They have become my extended family.”

Sandy is a graduate of East Aurora High School. She went to Erie Community College where she completed her associate’s degree in dental hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist for 35 plus years and she feels fortunate to have been with the same practice for that time. Her fondest part of the job is getting to know her patients and their families.

A West Seneca native, Jennifer is a graduate of West Seneca High School. After earning an associates degree in dental laboratory technology, she immediately entered Dental Hygiene School at Erie Community College. Jennifer has been a dental hygienist for more than 12 years.
Certified Dental Assistant
Laurie has been with Dr. Dwyer’s office for more than 20 years and has been dental assisting for more than 25 years. Laurie’s combination of a business degree and dental assisting is a great asset to the practice.
She has her national certification and a New York State license in dental assisting and her patient-friendly approach is a quality that our patients find endearing.
Dawn has been with Dr. Dwyer’s office for more than 20 years and has been dental assisting for more than 35 years. She enjoys the satisfaction of delivering high-quality care to our patients. She feels our patients make her job a rewarding experience.

What are your office hours?
At Edward Dwyer, DDS, we try to make appointments as convenient as possible for our patients. That’s why we have extended and Saturday hours. Here are our office hours:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Do you offer payment plans?
We offer our patients a variety of options to make getting the best possible dental care manageable and affordable. That’s why we partner with CareCredit. Do you accept dental emergencies?
If you are a patient of our office, we see most dental emergencies the same day. For all other dental emergencies, please call our office for more information, (716) 674-5950.
What do I bring to my first visit?
- Information on your dental insurance carrier, including:
- Your plan name
- Group and policy number
- All medical history information, including:
- Your primary care doctor’s name, address and telephone number
- List of all medical conditions past and present
- List of all current medications
What is your financial policy?
An important component of any doctor-patient relationship is an understanding of our financial policies. We are always happy to discuss your proposed treatment plan and answer any questions relating to your diagnosis or billing matters. Payments is due at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Do you accept dental insurance?
We will be happy to process your insurance claim form for your reimbursement. Please bring your completed form or any other information you think we might need with you on the day of your appointment.

We consider it an honor every time you send someone important to you our way for their oral health care and we’d like to show you our appreciation.
