Restorative dentistry

Healthy, natural teeth can be beautifully designed and do their job extremely well. Restorative dentistry focuses on restoring a tooth that has been damaged, decayed or lost back to its original form and function. We offer the following restorative services that can leave you with a functional and natural smile:

One Visit Crowns

Dental crowns are used for a variety of reasons:

  1. To protect a weak tooth from breaking/cracking
  2. To restore a broken tooth or tooth that has severe wear
  3. To cover and support a tooth with a large filling
  4. To secure a dental bridge
  5. To cover a discolored/misshaped tooth
  6. To cap a dental implant

With CEREC technology, we can now restore your tooth with a permanent dental crown in one visit. CEREC crowns are made in single visit, saving you considerable time and return trips. Plus, CEREC crowns are made out of ceramic—so they are stronger, long-lasting and closely match the color of your natural teeth. CEREC technology is not only convenient, it’s healthy.

Dentures and Partial Dentures

Dentures can be either complete or partial but both are removable prosthetic devices that are used to replace one or more missing teeth. A denture, also known as false teeth, is used when there are no teeth remaining on the top, bottom or both. A partial denture replaces one or more missing teeth when there are natural teeth still remaining. Dental Implants or support crowns can be used to anchor a bridge or partial in your mouth. Proper hygiene is essential with dentures and especially for partial denture wearers because partials can retain more dental plaque leaving you at greater risk of cavities.

Fillings, Inlays and Onlays

Tooth-colored fillings, inlays and onlays using CEREC technology are a convenient way to repair teeth and give them a natural appearance. Inlays and onlays are restorations used to repair back teeth (molars) that have mild to moderate decay. They can also be used to restore teeth that are cracked or fractured when the damage is not severe enough to require a dental crown.
